World No.1 eventer Andrew Nicholson has successfully defended his Barbury horse trials title in England with a clear cross-country round

Nicholson and Avebury got just 0.8 time penalties on the Wiltshire course to end on 35.2 points

The combination were a comfortable 10.2 points clear of Britain's Izzy Taylor and Starchaser in second place.
